i was thinking about a lot of stuff this week, and one thing which i pondered on for awhile is the education system we have in the word today. from a young age, we cram the young kids with knowledge, some well beyond their years, but what do we care? we'd rather they read frankenstein than fairy tales at age 5, we'd rather they watch shakespear, than scooby doo at age 7. honestly, we think this is crazy and yet we do it to our kids. what is the world coming to?
did bethoveen become a genius by studying about science? how about enstein? did he do geography? did michaengelo do history?? ok so perhaps they did some of it, but not the the entent we shove down those young minds today. and yet, we demand another genius from them!! how is that ever possible? those world swimmers, do they train their running?do they shoot a few hoops to improve their strokes? NO!! they swim, from a young young age of 4 or 5. and they swim for years on end. why cant we apply the same concept for our education system?
then u can rebut that by saying, if we teach our kids practical stuff from their tender age, such as if we wanted a mathematician, we taught the kid english and math. by the time he is 12, he would be doing A math. at 14 he'll probably be done with C math, and before he reaches 18, F maths. then there's uni math. that would be cramming out kids with too much info at such a young age. yea i agree...sigh. is our education system the best? i dont think so. but if thats the case, then there has to be a better one. WHERE IS IT!!!
